Diane Colbeck has over twelve years experience in the practical application of IT Service Management (ITSM) ’best practice’. She has a strong background in IT strategic planning and financial management, as well as in general IT Service Design, Transition and Operations. Diane holds the v2 Manager’s Certificate in IT Service Management with a mark of Distinction as well as having been awarded v3's 'ITIL Expert' status.
Since 1998, Diane has specialized in helping both government and private sector organizations attain organizational improvement through the implementation of IT management processes and techniques based upon those described in the IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL). Assignments undertaken have included strategic and operational consultancies, current state assessments and gap analyses, education and training strategies and deliveries, project management and the design, delivery and support of the full range of IT management processes. Clients include Comair, the Oracle Corporation, Cisco Systems, Louisville Gas and Electric, Nextel, Public Works and Government Services Canada, Royal Canadian Mounted Police, the Canadian Deposit Insurance Corporation, Department of National Defense, Canada Customs and Revenue Agency, CISCO and the Oracle Corporation. Diane is also an accredited IT Service Management tutor. Since 2001 she has been responsible for the development and delivery of ITSM certification and non-certification training across North America and Europe, including the provision of standard and customer-specific training for government departments as well as for a number of private sector companies. Clients include, Hewlett-Packard, Proctor & Gamble, Eli Lilly & Company, Johnson & Johnson, Amazon.com, State Farm Insurance, GTECH, Wells Fargo, Computer Associates, multiple Canadian and US Government Departments and, in Mexico, Pemex. Diane is currently working with Oracle University as their principle ITSM trainer and advisor as well as with the Examinations Institute EXIN on their advanced level ISO/IEC 20000 qualifications. Diane is President of the ITSM innovation company DIYmonde Solutions Inc., a founding member of itSMF Canada and a co-author of the highly acclaimed “Complete Guide to IT Service Management”. Ivor Evans is a director of the IT Service Management innovation company, DIYmonde Solutions Inc. and of a number of other companies that focus on helping organizations achieve improvements in the quality of their IT Service Management. His involvement with Information Technology and Service Management began in UK government 40 years ago and he has remained in that field ever since. He has been responsible for all aspects of IT including strategic reviews, technical and managerial studies, cost-benefit analyses, procurement and Service Management, the latter at a senior directing level. For the past thirteen years he has acted as an independent senior consultant and tutor for a variety of information services groups, including Hewlett-Packard, Quint Wellington Redwood, ConnectSphere and StAY Technologies. During the past five years, many assignments have involved carrying out maturity assessments for a variety of organizations, providing them with an improvement roadmap which highlights those activities that will bring the most immediate benefits but which also focus on achieving their strategic goals.
His first ITIL-based IT Service Improvement Program for UK Army Logistics, one of the first in the world, began in 1989. This laid the foundation for the practical advice and guidance that he has since provided to a wide range of private and public sector clients in the UK, North America and Asia. Ivor Evans is an acknowledged expert on practical and strategic IT Service Management issues (there are few people in the world who can match the extent of his ITSM experience). He has been a frequent speaker at national and international gatherings and a contributed to the rewriting of OGC’s IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL). He is a co-author of the British Standard BS15000 (which became ISO/IEC 20000) and its associated Code of Practice for IT Service Management; also of the highly acclaimed “Complete Guide to IT Service Management”. As a result of his professional interest and involvement in the adoption of modern management techniques for the delivery of high quality IT services, he was, until his retirement from the post in 1999, a long-serving Chairman of the UK IT Service Management Forum (itSMF). During this time he was also elected Chairman of the management board of itSMF International, representing the highest aspirations in IT service quality worldwide. Ivor remains the Honorary Life President of itSMF UK. For nearly fifteen years he has been an examiner and accredited tutor in IT Service Management. He is a Fellow of the international Institute of IT Service Management and a Member of the British Computer Society. He holds a Distinction in the Manager’s Certificate in IT Service Management. Raj Gupta holds engineering degree in electronics and advance project management certification form George Washington University. He has over ten years of IT experience. He has held such positions as Sales Manager, Business Development Manager, Senior System Analyst, and Project Manager. Most recently he has specialized in Project Management. His experience spans many industries and disciplines with particular interest in project management; business intelligence and IT service management.
Raj also holds experience and exposure in managing large scale Integration project, providing informatics and application and has set directions, provided support and been able to remove roadblocks. He has worked closely with end users to ensure the IT services and products are use to provide maximum customer satisfaction, inevitably maximizing the long-term profitability of an enterprise.
